Director

Mary Pat Jacobs launched Apply Point Admissions Consulting in New York City in 2011.

Prior to founding Apply Point, Mary Pat served on the admissions committee of a top-tier graduate business program as the Associate Director of MBA Admissions, and worked as a writer and editor in public relations, as well as print and broadcast news. Mary Pat has a Master of Business Administration from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism.

She is a member of the Association of International Graduate Admissions Consultants.


Kate Sullivan

Senior Writing Consultant

Kate Sullivan is a journalist, editor, and ghostwriter with more than 17 years of experience. Working on thousands of cover story profiles, interviews, as-told-to essays, and long-term projects with those at the top of their fields or simply people with incredible stories to tell has translated well to connecting with clients at Apply Point. Kate has helped clients mine their experiences to build the foundation for their perfect essay. Lindsey Margolin

Communications Manager

Lindsey Margolin is Apply Point’s Communications Manager. With over 15 years of experience in strategic communications and management consulting, Lindsey oversees all of Apply Point’s communications channels including blog posts and forums on various websites, our newsletter, and all client communications.


Elise Diesfeld

Social Media Coordinator

Elise is Apply Point's Social Media Coordinator. A new graduate from the University of Missouri School of Journalism, she has degrees in Strategic Communications and Economics. She also brings four years of experience in journalism and financial marketing.
